Privacy Policy
Effective September 29, 2026
- IKI SKY requires no account and does not collect your personal data.
- Trusted networks and settings are stored only on your device.
- Location access is needed only so that iOS reveals the Wi-Fi name and security type. Coordinates are never stored or sent anywhere.
- The app contains no analytics, ads or trackers.
1. Who we are
The IKI SKY app (the “app”) and the ikisky.com website (the “website”) are developed by IKI TECHNOLOGIES (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the app and the website process, why, and where it is stored.
Contact us: official.iki.technologies@gmail.com, Telegram @ikisky_support.
2. What data the app processes
Everything listed below is processed on your device. We do not receive this data: the app has no server of its own, no accounts and no analytics.
Current connection details
To assess risk, the app gets the following from iOS: connection type (Wi-Fi, cellular, wired), Wi-Fi network name (SSID), encryption type, access point hardware address (BSSID), local IP address and subnet mask, supported protocols, whether Low Data Mode is on, and whether a VPN tunnel is present. This information is used only for the on-screen verdict and advice.
Trusted networks
When you mark a network as trusted, the app stores its name, the access point hardware address (BSSID) and your note, if you add one, on your device. This lets the app notice if a familiar network name starts being broadcast by different hardware.
Settings
The app stores its settings on your device — for example, your language choice.
3. Location
The app requests “While Using the App” location access for one reason: iOS only reveals a Wi-Fi network’s name and security type to apps with precise location access.
- Coordinates are never stored or sent anywhere.
- You can revoke access at any time: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → IKI SKY.
- Without this access the app can’t see the Wi-Fi name and encryption, but internet diagnostics still work.
4. Network requests made by the app
For internet diagnostics the app contacts only Apple service addresses — captive.apple.com and www.apple.com, the same ones iOS itself uses to check the network. The app does not attach any of your data to these requests.
As with any internet request, Apple’s servers technically see the IP address the request came from, and the owner of the network you are connected to can see that these requests were made. Apple’s handling of data is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
5. What the app doesn’t have
- accounts, sign-up or login;
- analytics, ads or trackers;
- in-app purchases or subscriptions;
- background operation or notifications.
We don’t sell or share your data with third parties — we don’t have it.
6. Storage and deletion
Trusted networks and settings are stored in the app’s storage on your device. You can delete an individual network in the Networks tab. Deleting the app removes all of its data from the device.
If you back up your device with iOS tools (to iCloud or a computer), app data may be included in that backup according to Apple’s rules. We have no access to your backups.
7. Contacting support
If you write to us by email or on Telegram, we receive what you send: your email address or account name and the message text. We use it only to answer your question and do not share it with third parties. You can ask us to delete the conversation at any time.
8. The ikisky.com website
The website uses no cookies, analytics, ads, or third-party scripts or fonts. Like any web server, ours keeps technical logs: IP address, request time, requested page and browser details. They are needed to operate and protect the website and are deleted automatically after about 14 days.
9. Children
The app does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.
10. Your rights
Since the app’s data is stored only with you, you are in full control of it. For any data-related questions — including access to, correction or deletion of support correspondence — write to official.iki.technologies@gmail.com.
11. Changes to this policy
If the app starts handling data differently, we will update this page before that version is released and change the date at the top. We will also describe material changes in the App Store release notes.
