In short

IKI SKY helps you assess network risk but does not guarantee safety.
It’s not a VPN or an antivirus: the app doesn’t encrypt or block anything.
You decide how to use a network.
The app is free.

1. General

These terms govern your use of the IKI SKY app (the “app”) developed by IKI TECHNOLOGIES (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

2. What the app does

The app analyses the current network connection details reported by iOS, runs internet access checks, and shows a risk assessment with recommendations. The app is for informational purposes.

3. What the app doesn’t do

It doesn’t encrypt traffic or block attacks — it’s not a VPN or an antivirus.
It doesn’t run in the background or send notifications: checks run while the app is open.
It can’t see other devices on the network and doesn’t scan it.
It won’t detect access point impersonation if the attacker also spoofs the hardware address. On networks with several access points the warning may fire for a legitimate one.
Without location access it can’t determine the Wi-Fi network name and encryption.

4. No warranty

The app is provided “as is”. Its assessment relies on data reported by the operating system and may be incomplete or inaccurate. We do not warrant that the app will detect every threat, that a “Connection is protected” verdict means there is no risk, or that the app will work without errors or interruptions — to the extent such disclaimers are permitted by applicable law.

5. Your responsibility

You decide whether to join a network, turn on a VPN or enter any data.
Use the app only on networks you are allowed to join, and not for any unlawful purpose.
Keep iOS and the app up to date.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect damages, lost profits, loss of data or other harm arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app, including decisions made on the basis of its assessment. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or your statutory consumer rights.

7. License and intellectual property

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control. The app, its name, logo, design and texts belong to IKI TECHNOLOGIES. You may not copy, modify, distribute or decompile the app except as expressly permitted by law.

8. App Store

The app is distributed through the App Store. The App Store rules and the Apple Standard EULA also apply to your use of the app; these terms supplement it. These terms are between you and IKI TECHNOLOGIES, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.

9. Price

The app is free and has no in-app purchases or subscriptions. If paid features are introduced in the future, we will update these terms in advance.

10. Privacy

How the app handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when new versions of the app are released. The current version is always available on this page, and the date at the top shows the latest change. By continuing to use the app after changes, you accept the new version.
